About us

INTRODUCTION
The NYSC scheme gives Nigerians an opportunity to serve their fatherland in the spirit of patriotism for a period of one irretrievable year of their life. During this period, Christain youths are much more opportunity to serve the one who owns not just a geographical location but the whole earth in itself under the platform on NCCF.
The establishment of the Nigerian Christain Corpers Fellowship itself is a fulfilment of prophecy given years before the creation of the NYSC scheme, the prophecy was given by Pa S.G Elton, a notable British missionary. The prophecy was given as thus:
” A time would come when the Nigerian Government would pay the Nigerian youth to preach the gospel in all nooks and crannies of the country.”
This prophecy was fulfilled in 1973  at the inception of the national youth service corps scheme.
NCCF consists of:
The Organizational Arm
The Fellowship Arm
The Family Arm

WHY NCCF

The answer to this is simple, Christ is coming to rapture the church (a united church) as a non-denominational/interdenominational body, NCCF promotes unity of the body of christ, giving everyone a platform as much as possible, alongside giving everyone an opportunity to serve God in an unbiased manner and to accept people (children of God) for who they are and not where they came from, the doctrines that agree with or dispute, likes and dislikes. We strongly believe that God is far bigger than our home church and the myopic views of him we posses by reason of our background that we have held on to for so long. And this single year of an adventure with God with other Christian colleagues of ours would do us no harm, but if well employed would leave us as better Christians with a deeper and wider view of God’s work.

That being said, we want to stress that NCCF is not a church or a subset of any ministry, it is a Christian fellowship owned by and controlled by Christian corpers united together in God’s love and will. Like stated before it is the only Christian fellowship recognised officially by the NYSC.
Also it is not advisable to risk becoming an island during your service year (Eccl. 4:9-10), you definitely need the love of home away from home, and you can be sure to get that at NCCF any day, anytime and under any condition — we are of course one big family united in love. Also, your membership of NCCF at the state level strategically opens you up to care and attention on a national note and not just the state you are involved with.
Serve your fatherland and much more serve God under NCCF during this irreversible one year of your life. Make it count!

Rural Rugged Evangelism (NCCF's Core Mission).
We spread the love and gospel of Jesus, through humanitarian services and evangelism, it is an integral part of our fellowship.

We Are United(One)

THE BORN AGAIN EXPERIENCE

A man named Nicodemus came to Jesus by night. Perhaps he was afraid of criticism or he had a desire for a private conversation, or maybe he wanted to know more before committing himself to Jesus Christ. In any event, he came and asked Jesus some questions. Jesus looked at him and said, “Nicodemus, you need to be born again” (Cf. John 3:5). In fact, He said, “Verily, verily”—and any time Jesus used that expression, He meant that what was to follow was very important. He said, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee … ye must be born again” (John 3:5,7, KJV). Have you been born again? Call it conversion, call it commitment, call it repentance, call it being saved, but has it happened to you? Does Christ live in your heart? Do you know it? Many people have thought a long time about religion and Christianity and yet have never made a commitment.  Are you committed to Jesus Christ? Nicodemus must have been stunned when Jesus said, “You must be born again.” It wouldn’t seem shocking ...

BORN TO COMPLEMENT

Born to Complement What do you think would happen if your hand said I want to compete with the legs? Or, your ears saying we want to see like the eyes? Of course you know any attempt to do that will be tantamount to purpose of creation. But alas! We grew and found ourselves in a world that doesn’t help us think and reason in that way. All we grow hearing is, do better than that person. Or, be like that person. Overtake or outrun that person to an extent that even in sharing things we are encouraged to be the first in order to have more or larger share than others. The outcome? Self-centred and ego-centric human beings thinking about nothing or someone else than themselves. But the truth? The truth is that we were never born or created to compete with anyone. We were created to complement each and one another (Genesis 2:18). We were born to be ourselves. In an effort of being yourself you’ll discover your uniqueness. In discovering your uniqueness you’ll discover yourself complement...
